The opportunity

Winter shows up every single year.

Snow doesn't care about the economy. In snow-belt cities a cleared driveway isn't a luxury, it's how people get to work. And most homeowners are still stuck with a shovel or a guy who might show up.

The model

Not a plow business. A membership business.

Most snow companies sell one push at a time and chase every invoice. Northern Snow sells peace of mind for the whole season, then runs it like a logistics company.

One customer. Three services. Twelve months.

The same brand, crews and customer relationships working every season.

The track record

From $0 to 5,500+ homes.

Northern started with a shovel, a pickup truck and zero outside money. Every season since, everything went back into tractors, people and systems. Until one city wasn't enough.

Meet the founder

Built from nothing.

Stefano Narducci started Northern with a shovel and a pickup truck. No investors, no family business, no shortcuts. Just door-to-door hustle in Sault Ste. Marie.

He reinvested everything, built the systems himself and documented the whole grind in public. Today Northern Snow serves 5,500+ homes with 85+ team members. It's one of Canada's fastest-growing residential snow and lawn companies, and Stefano's content reaches more than 2 million followers.

Now he's looking for partners who want to build the same thing in their city, with the playbook already written.

“We didn't make money for three years. We just kept reinvesting. All of it.”

The right partner

We'd rather find the right partners than the most partners. Here's who thrives with us.

  • You're rooted in your community and care about your reputation.
  • You have access to capital to fund equipment and launch.
  • You already run a snow or landscaping company and want a bigger playbook.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Don't see yours? Ask us on your intro call, or call (705) 992-8222.

How much does a Northern Snow franchise cost?

Total investment depends on your territory size, fleet and local market. We walk through the full breakdown (fees, equipment and working capital) on your intro call and in our franchise disclosure document.

Why not just start my own snow company?

You could. Stefano did, and it took years of trial and error and reinvesting everything. A franchise gives you the brand, the membership model, the software and a team that has already made the expensive mistakes, from day one.

Do I need snow removal or landscaping experience?

No. We're looking for leaders and operators. We'll teach you the equipment, the routes and the system. Industry experience is a bonus, not a requirement.

Is this only a winter business?

No. Snow memberships run November to April, lawn care May to October, and fall cleanups October to November. Your crews, equipment and customer relationships can work all year.

Where are franchises available?

We're reviewing markets across Canada and the northern United States. The best territories have reliable snowfall and dense residential neighbourhoods. Territory availability is confirmed during discovery.

What equipment does the model use?

Compact tractors fitted with inverted residential snowblowers. They clear a driveway faster than shovel crews, throw the snow instead of piling it, and are safe on interlock, concrete and sealed driveways.

Can I convert my existing snow or landscaping company?

Possibly, and existing operators can be a strong fit. Answer “Yes” to the last question on the first page of the application and we'll ask about your business: customers, crew, equipment and how you price today.

What training and support will I get?

Partners train at our headquarters in Sault Ste. Marie and get access to our brand, marketing, operating software and fleet playbook, plus ongoing support through the season. Full details are in our disclosure document.

What happens after I apply?

A real person on our team reads every application. If it looks like a fit, we'll reach out within 2 business days to book an intro call, then share more about the model, territories and investment.

Is my information kept confidential?

Yes. Your application is only used to evaluate franchise opportunities and to contact you about them. We never sell your information.

Principle 08

No one wins alone.

It's the reason we're franchising. Let's build Northern Snow in your city, together.
